Take a demolition contract, size up the site, and rig the perfect collapse. Voxels make the world: the buildings, the vehicles parked outside them, the ground they stand on - all of it. You make the world go boom! Place a limited kit of tools, press the plunger once, and watch the whole thing come down while the damage tallies in dollars. The contract names what to flatten, but let’s be honest - if they didn’t want other buildings destroyed, they wouldn’t have built them so close together! Everything wrapped in yellow and black tape is deducted from your contract’s paycheck. Earn money and stars when completing contracts, use them to purchase new tools and crazy game modes! Welcome to Weasel Wrecking Co., a demolition outfit where accidents are the service!
Features
- A fully destructible voxel world. Terrain, buildings, props, and vehicles are all made of the same tiny voxels, and destruction really removes them - or moves them! No scripted crumble animations here - what falls, falls because nothing is holding it up any more.
- Commit and watch. Set up your entire plan first: blasting charges, shaped charges, a cutting torch, cable pulls, a wrecking ball, and more. Don’t forget to move things around - that tank of fuel would be perfect next to that car! Then one press of the plunger commits it all, and the collapse cascades with no take-backs.
- Chain reactions. Fuel tanks, gas lines, and parked vehicles are all live. A good plan spends one charge and lets the site do the rest of the work.
- Paid in damage, fined in damage. Every voxel has a dollar value. Demolish what the contract names, spare the protected neighbors that are wrapped in construction tape so there are no excuses, and earn money and star ratings.
- Every contract is winnable. Sites and contracts are procedurally generated, but we here at Weasel Wrecking Co. make sure each one is completable!
- Share the exact disaster. The simulation is fully deterministic: the same site and the same setup produce the same collapse, down to the voxel, on any machine. Short site codes let someone else attempt the job you just made a mess of.
On the roadmap
- The spectacle layer. The simulation already decides every outcome; the debris, dust, and sound that make a collapse feel expensive are being layered on top now.
- A company to run. Payouts buy better tools, stars unlock harder districts and challenge modes, and every run goes in the company records, including a plaque wall for record setters. Get rewarded for being in the hole for once!
- The daily contract. One shared site a day that is the same for everyone - compete to see who can do it the best using the least amount of kit.
The devlog has the longer version, and the current state of all of the above.
